Lex Publica: Jurnal Hukum Asosiasi Pimpinan Perguruan Tinggi Hukum Indonesia (e-issn 2579-8855; p-issn 2354-9181) is an international, blind peer-reviewed, open access journal that features scholarly works examining critical developments in the substance and processes of legal systems worldwide. Published biannually every June and December, the journal is hosted by the Asosiasi Pimpinan Perguruan Tinggi Hukum Indonesia (APPTHI) and is overseen by Sigma Global Insight (SGI).
Lex Publica is dedicated to critically investigating and advancing academic insights into legal systems, theories, and institutions. The journal aims to promote high-quality academic research and foster discussions on the evolving landscape of law. Authors are required to submit original manuscripts that are neither under consideration nor have been published in other journals.
Since its inaugural issue in 2014, Lex Publica was initially published in hard copy. However, starting in 2018, the journal transitioned to an online format and adopted English as its primary language of publication. This shift has expanded its reach, attracting contributions from a diverse range of national and international scholars.
A distinctive feature of Lex Publica is its strong ties with high-ranking officials in Indonesia's judiciary, legislative, and executive branches, who regularly contribute insightful articles, further enhancing the journal’s relevance and impact.
Lex Publica is indexed by numerous scientific databases, including Crossref, Copernicus, Garuda, and Google Scholar, making it a well-regarded platform for scholarly work in the field of law.
