Copyright Transfer Agreement

To publish and distribute research articles, editors require publishing rights, which are transferred from the author to the publisher. This agreement pertains to the transfer of the publishing copyright license, but the author retains significant rights to use and share the published article. These retained rights support the author's ability to share, disseminate, and maximize the impact of their research across various platforms and databases.

As an author of a journal article, you retain broad rights to use your work for educational and scientific purposes without needing special permission, including:

- Using the article for lectures, presentations, or conferences and distributing copies to participants.
- Distributing copies to colleagues for research purposes.
- Including the article in compilations of the author's subsequent works.
- Incorporating the article into a thesis or dissertation.
- Reusing sections or excerpts from the article in other works, provided full acknowledgment of the original article is given.
- Preparing derivative works (excluding commercial purposes), with full acknowledgment of the original article.
- Voluntarily posting the article on open-access websites operated by the author or the author’s institution for scientific purposes.

When submitting a manuscript, authors agree that, if accepted for publication, the copyright for publishing (publishing rights) of the article will be transferred to the publisher. Authors whose articles are accepted for publication will receive a confirmation email and will be asked to submit the Copyright Transfer Agreement. Authors are kindly requested to download and complete the Copyright Transfer Agreement file.
